Polaroid frame card (Card week day 1)

I spent the weekend making cards :-) I need some for myself, and my mum wants some, too, so I decided to just dive in and use up remains from kits and old stuff! I browsed my favourite challenge sites to kick start my mojo, and am going to share these inspirational places - and my creations - with you every day for an entire week! Today is day 1!

Let's start with a clean and simple card:

Cardstock: Bazill. Polaroid frame & stickers: Pebbles. Ribbon: unknown.
All materials except cs from MyCreativeScrapbook January kit

When I saw this sketch at CAS(E) this sketch, I imidiately thought of some paper polaroid frames I had laying around:

I just added left over paper clip stickers and yellow ribbon, and voila!

Close up to see the depth in this card (3D foam is a must have for me):

Thank you for stopping by, and please come back tomorrow for another card :-)

Tak! Merci! Danke! Thanks! Gracias!

Did you know this means Thanks in Danish, French, German, English and and Spanish?
You did?

How come I'm not surprised - after all you're an intelligent woman :-)

Cardstock: Bazill. Chipboard: Imaginarium Designs
Twine: The Twinery. Flair: Cre8tive Cre8tions

I made this card with inspiration from this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #14.

As Valentine isn't really big here in Norway, I chose to make a Thanks card instead. You can't say Thanks enough, can you? A pretty chipboard, a piece of scrap paper, some twine and a flair -and of course a base card - you really don't need much more to make a simple Thanks card.

Thank you for stopping by - you know I really appreciate it!

She who waits for her knight

must remember -
she will have to clean up after his horse.

Cardstock: bazill. Chipboard: Imaginarium Designs.
Ribbon: ScrabookFantasies

I thought this saying, and knight chipboard, was perfect for this week's challenge at CASology:

I painted the chipboard black - added som pinkish ribbon to my base card - and voila! a card.

I think there is some truth in the saying (oh yes, it's one of those days...) What about you?

Edit February 12th:

I am proud to announce that this card earned an Honorable Mention at CASology :-)
