Queen Elizabeth Look Alike

He he, or may be not. But my cousin claimed I looked royal in my outfit at the riding school Christmas Show in December:

Papers, stickers & rubber Square: Doodlebug Designs. Rosette: Pebbles. Alpha American Crafts. Horse badge: Karen Foster
 Close ups:

This layout was made at the Paper Issues Spring crop, and the challenge "About You".

I admit it. I don't often make pages about myself, usually as I am behind camera. When was the last time you did a page about yourself?

Dream Team (?)

Late fall 2014 I picked up horse riding again after a fifteen year long break - I had to give up when I was five months pregnant with my oldest child, as the belly got to heavy (think stretch marks here *lol).

Then, in November, I did something I never have done before: I joined a equesterian competition! I admit I'm not good enough for the Olympic team yet, but you have to start somewhere! And we even won!

Here is me and my buddy "Hot Spot":

Papers & stickers: Echo Park. Journaling card: Studio Calico. Badge: Karen Foster

The perfect badge(brad) - Karen Foster

I even tried yoga for the first time in 2015, and have dcided my goal for 2016 is to try something I have never done before or in a very long time - I still don't know what it's going to be, though :-)

The design for this layout is take from this great sketch at My Creative Sketches (December sketch). I have had a long break from scrapping, so a good sketch was just what I needed to get started again :-)

Thank you for stopping by - you know it means a lot to me!

Every day is a fashion show...

This is my 15 year old son:

Printed black cardstock: ClubScrap. Orange paper: Karen Foster. Other pattern paper: Lemon Owl.
Chipboard: Maya Road. Epoxy stickers: Freckled Fawn. Alphas: Basic Grey (small), AC (others).
Journaling spot: Kaiser Craft. Tab: Simple Stories

He is a fashionist and plans his outfits very carefully. But then his dad cought him dressed like this on their annual "Dads-and-kids-camping-on-a-nearby-island" trip: pyjamas trousers, crocks - and his mother's rain jacket. Scrap worthy!

I found the inpiration for this layout in the Scrap Around The World's August mood board:

The theme, Fashion, was perfect for my photo, and I let the long title be one of the main elements in my design.

Here are some close ups of details:

Hand cut "arrows" and cloth themed chipboard inked in black.

Thank you for taking your time to stop by! Tell me, do you have a fashionist at home, too?
