The Studio Challenges June Challenge #1: Stitching!

I admit it  - I don't pull out my sewing machine or hand stitch on my layouts too often. But I love the effect stitching gives so I had decided to have my machine up on permanent bases, to see if it makes me use it more often.

The first challenge at The Studio Challenges in June is all about stitching: use stitching on your layout, hand stitching or by machine. Here is my example for you:

Alpha & background paper: Basic Grey. Patterned Paper: AC Embossed kraft paper: Club Stamp. Chipboards: Maya Road. Brad: MME. Cut outs: Crate Paper. Glassine bag & buttons: Unknown

A few detail shots:

Hidden journaling in glassine bags says: It's a matter of learning the kids that stuff can be fixed - you don't always have to buy new when broken.

Do you stitck on your projects?

Do you want to come and play with us at The Studio Challenges?

What a fantastic layout! Love the "random" stitching!! You stitch on your pages more!

Hilde, I love this picture and layout! and what a good idea to tell kids that there's more you have to do before to buy something new!
