Hi!
It has been a while since I have created cards, and with school starting next week for the boys, it's time to make some again- I know there will be birthdays coming!
Mu mojo kicked in when I saw this lovely sketch at CAS(E) this sketch earlier today:
And here is my take on the sketch:
This card is very simple to make: the candles are made from rolled 2"*3,5" paper scraps (Studio Calico card kits). I used a pisley pattern dies (Lifetyle Crafts) for my flames, but you can cut them by hand if you don't have the dies.
Please come back on Thursday when I'll show a few examples on how to use 6"*6" chipborads on Cards :-)

Your creation is so beautiful with it's bright and cheerful colors. This is sure to bring a smile to any face. Love your cleverness in designing this creation using the very happy birthday candles. Love it when folks think outside of the box. This look really gives this card great depth and dimension. Splendid job!!
Love those colorful candles--they add great texture to your card! Thanks for joining CAS(E) this Sketch this week!
